The Mid Ohio Valley Softball Hall of Fame Board of Directors welcomes you to the our new website. The BOD is made up of former and current players, coaches, directors and sponsors. The BOD meets every February to select nominations to be inducted for the current years induction ceremony. Individuals can be nominated by anyone. Nominations are voted on by the BOD. If a nominee is not selected in the current year they are carried over for the next year and added with new nominations to be decided upon the next year.

The HOF Board of Directors does their best to induct deserving individuals and organizations to the HOF. Nominees are not guaranteed to be selected for induction. You can nominate anyone at anytime during the year, nominations are cut off January 30th of the induction year. You can nominate by email, or by commenting in the contact section off this site or by commenting on our facebook site.

There are a few criteria for induction to the HOF. Players must be atleast 40 years of age, must be retired (can play senior, masters and league ball. can not be on a active roster of a competitive tournament team). All individuals or organizations must have been involved in the game  for atleast 10 years and within the Mid Ohio Valley.

 

The Mid Ohio Valley Softball HOF has an Induction Ceremony every April on the 3rd Friday at Pike Street Lanes in Parkersburg, WV. 5:30pm Social, 6:00pm Dinner and 7:00pm Induction Ceremony. Tickets are always $10.00 and are available the night of the ceremony.

 

The HOF is a non for profit organization and is funded by the BOD, donations and the HOF tournament held the same weekend as the ceremony every year.
